Often located in isolated areas with no personnel or passers-by, solar farms are increasingly targeted by thieves for valuable components, such as panels, cabling, and inverters. Theft not only results in loss of your equipment but also causes damage, repair costs, and loss of income, with even a single stolen panel significantly impacting your power output and revenue.
To enhance your solar farm’s security, our fibre-optic-based PIDS systems serve as a first line of defence. Covering hundreds of metres up to 100km, they are ideal for integrating with your wider security system, such as CCTV, access control, screening, and scanning equipment. Suitable for both fence/wall-mounted and buried applications, they offer consistent detection over long distances and are highly sensitive, detecting intrusions down to 1 metre.

The Distributed Temperature Sensing (DTS) technology automatically detects fire and activates the relevant, pre-programmed safety measures, including alarms, ventilation control, and Fire Suppression Systems.
