Fully scalable from under 5km to over 100km, our fibre-optic solutions offer covert buried and fence- or wall-mounted detection from a single unit, in 1- or 2-channel variants. Even if the cable is cut or damaged, the 2-channel variant ensures uninterrupted detection.
Using Distributed Acoustic Sensing, the AI-powered detection algorithms develop acoustic fingerprints to distinguish genuine security risks from environmental noise, minimising false alarms. Advanced signal processing identifies the locations of multiple intrusion attempts to within ±5m accuracy.

Bandweaver Optical Fibre PIDS Systems work with all fences, including chain link, weld mesh, and palisade, detecting climbing, cutting, and lifting with 95%+ Probability of Detection. The cabling resists electromagnetic interference and is intrinsically safe for fire or explosion-risk sites.
When mounted on perimeter or building walls, these systems detect attempts to climb or break through. They can be deployed on wall toppers, like barbed or razor wire, for full coverage.
To protect perimeters without physical boundaries, especially along extended borders, fibre-optic cables can be directly buried. Detecting intruders before they enter your site, whilst remaining covert, they can distinguish between multiple intruders and vehicles.
