Global design & supply of Bandweaver Fibre Optic Linear Heat Detection Solutions for fire safety.
Global Linear Heat Detection Systems
Bandweaver Fibre Optic Linear Heat Detection Systems
Utilising Fibre-Optic Monitoring technology, Bandweaver Linear Heat Detection (LHD) Systems are designed to enhance the fire safety of critical infrastructure and personnel in Industrial Buildings, Manufacturing, Warehouses, Solar Panels, Road & Rail Tunnels, Car Parks, Conveyor Belts, and other large facilities across the UK and internationally, including Europe, Middle East, Latin America, South Pacific Asia, Africa, and India.

Advanced Fibre Optic Sensing Solutions for Fire Detection
Monitoring long-range linear assets in hazardous environments, these LHD Systems detect abnormal temperature rises and fires early, through fibre-optic distributed temperature sensing. The linear heat-sensing cable provides complete coverage along its length over several kilometres.
Whether your asset is in a remote location or a busy inner city, these solutions allow you to pinpoint overheating issues and effectively prevent potential fire hazards, helping to minimise damage, avoid catastrophic failure, and reduce financial, environmental, and reputational risk. Rest assured, the fibre-optic sensing technology is resistant to electromagnetic interference and is intrinsically safe, enabling it to be used in a wide variety of installations. Completely passive and corrosion-free, with no apertures, joints or moving parts, it ensures very low maintenance.
Manufactured by an ISO 9001-certified company and rigorously tested according to industry standards and customer-specific testing, these systems have received approval for international and country-specific standards.

FireLaser Distributed Temperature Sensor (DTS) Systems
Using highly reliable embedded system technology with Relay and Modbus interface options, the FireLaser is a Linear Heat Detector, designed for use in hazardous fire detection applications. Its Distributed Temperature Sensing (DTS) system connects to a distributed fibre-optic cable (FireFiber) and determines temperature and distance data at thousands of points along the cable. The Sensor Control Unit is responsible for generating alarms based on the intelligent algorithm that calculates the temperature profile.
Offering a cost-effective, network-scalable solution, lasting over 30 years with low maintenance and operation costs, the FireLaser DTS can detect multiple hot-spot locations along up to a 5km length of fibre-optic cable with unrivalled precision to within 1m. The system can monitor the movement of hot spots in terms of physical position and temperature, in real-time. This DTS Technology provides a line-type heat detector solution, which is vastly superior to conventional copper-based or multipoint heat detectors.
